Light copper in shading. Entirely standard high-corn whiskey nose. Sharp and fiery on first taste with a slight mouthfeel. A pleasant woody pleasantness is uncovered on later tastes however the warmth sticks around longer than anticipated for 101 proof. A drop of water includes some tea leaves the nose and opens up some unobtrusive natural product attributes on the sense of taste. 3.7.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Aroma of sherry, mint, eucalyptus and copper, somewhat reminiscent of single malt scotch.

Taste

Notes of nutmeg, caramel, tobacco and chewy leather complemented by hints of malted barley, cherry, and earthy minerals.
