Most importantly Im not a cognac consumer. I have exceptionally constrained experience put something aside for an infrequent celebratory glass of Hennessy with a Hamlet stogie at personnel balls graduation services and such like during my school years. The nose was entirely pleasant: prunes raspberry smelly cowhide and oak. At first I found the taste smooth with little warmth by any means. At that point as I kept on tasting it got cloying with debilitated sweet kinds of earthy colored sugar prunes drenched raisins (like for a Christmas cake) clingy toffee pudding and an off-putting trace of anise (an individual revultion). Inside and out it was excessively sweet. I wouldn't preclude bourbon dependent on one measure so Im not discounting liquor at this time. I simply need to get progressively familiar and I'll cheerfully take any liquor proposals for the whisk(e)y lover....
