Received a massive 95 points from John Hansell in Malt Advocate magazine. The 2nd Edition of Parker's Heritage Collection is a 27 year old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey hand selected by Parker himself, the barrels for this second edition release had been ageing since 1981. Drawn from charred American white oak and bottled at 48% ABV, this fantastically rich Bourbon scored a 95 points with John Hansell from the Malt Advocate magazine.…

Tasting Notes

Nose

Smells of yellow fruit, wax paper, paraffin and resin but, no graininess.

Taste

Tastes of sweet corn, buttered popcorn, and corn syrup flavors come on strong; midpalate brings the oak factor and acidity into play and perfectly balances the corny sweetness.

Finish

Finishes with tastes of loose leaf tobacco and honey.
