For the 7th release in the Master Distiller's Blend of Mashbills collection, Heaven Hill distilleries selected a bourbon that comprised each of Master Distiller, Parker Beam's favorite attributes in terms of style, age, rickhouse location and strength. The resulting product, a rare offering, offers a kick of port and rum in the nose, followed by caramel and vanilla. Dayum. This is a scrumptious beverage. I was exceptionally eager to have found this discharge (living in Dad makes uncommon discovers more than troublesome). At the point when I got this home I was unable to pause. I poured me a glass and appreciated the sight smell and superb taste of this whiskey. This present Parker's Legacy is a lovely brilliant shading and looks wonderful in a cut precious stone glass. The nose is sweet with apples and berries. I get the wood and a trace of zest (with a sprinkle of water I additionally get cinnamon). On the pallete I truly get the cinnamon-apple flavor and an extremely dim berry practically cherry note. There is some caramel in there yet not as much vanilla as I would expect with a multi year old whiskey. The fieriness of the rye from the crush bill is there yet not overwhelming - you realize this is whiskey not rye bourbon. The completion is smooth with a tad of warmth. The flavors wait on the tongue. This is a standout amongst other I have had. I figure I should tell my companions it is horrendous and urge them to take a stab at something different so I can clutch this one for somewhat more.

Tasting Notes

Nose

A perfectly balanced, sweet smelling nose. Hints of fruits and spice, enhanced with oak. Caramelized sugar, honey and maple stand out the most. They should make a cologne that smells like this.

Taste

A very complex splash of flavors when it hits the tongue. Caramelized sugar and apples, with dashes of sweet honey and maple syrup. It tastes much like it smells, which doesn’t always happen with bourbon.

Finish

As it settles on the back of your tongue, oak characteristics come into play. Caramel also begin to pull out over the sugars. A perfect amount of burn develops to finish off the experience, though it ends a bit quicker than expected.
