The best worth if not the best of the JW go. Smooth even with sweet nectar a trace of dim products of the soil peat smoke. It despite everything appears to be only somewhat meager/marginally roasted to be perfect. At the cost its an extraordinary purchase. $80 in Ontario.

Herbs grass nuts caramel flavor meet my tongue went with a harsh dryness and a toasty pleasantness. American and European oak function admirably one including cream another including rye both including zest. Grave unpretentiously enchanting if not somewhat feeble the whisky does not have that tempting character punch that Johnnie Walker Dark Mark brings to the table perhaps something I'd suggest for a Speyside/Good country fan.

Tasting Notes

Nose

The nose is quite rich and full. There are notes of mocchaccino and espresso coffee, wood smoke and a fireplace, a touch of bitter chocolate and oak.

Taste

The palate is of medium-body with notes of crisp cereals, coffee beans and chocolate, a date note with a touch of walnut.

Finish

The finish is quite long and spicy with honeyed sweetness and oak.
