There is nothing ‘old’ about the taste and rich quality of Old Fitzgerald Prime bourbon. Known for a recipe that includes substituting wheat for rye, the switch up provides a distinct sipping experience that gives the taster a fresh new take on classic whiskey flavor. The scent of Old Fitzgerald bourbon begins with a story of softly sweet vanilla layered over freshly baked apples and lively toasted oak. The tongue continues the tale with further bites of apple, vanilla spiced cream, and shelled hazelnuts all sprinkled with warm pepper. Subtle hints of pecan and cranberry nudge the taste buds towards a quick drenching finished – like summer rain over cranberry fields. Woven slices of dry oak and sharp tannins bite at the tongue on the backend. Needless to say, we’d soak our lips with this refreshingly bright bourbon until we are well into our own ‘prime’!…

Squash bill of 68% corn 20% wheat and 12% malted grain. Refined by the Old Fitzgerald Refinery in Louisville Kentucky and is a piece of the Paradise Slope Refineries. The shading is a profound brilliant earthy colored with smell of sweet corn vanilla and oak. A sample of sweet caramel with some burn and vanilla. A completion of oak and syrup.
