It's made with a blend of well-aged Puerto Rican rums, resulting in a splendidly rich, complex flavour profile. The Reserva Limitada (aka the “Founder’s Blend”) was originally created by the Bacardi Maestro de Ron (Rum Master) as a personal blend for the Bacardi family, in honor of founder Don Facundo Bacardi Massó. It was first released to the public in 2003, to celebrate the opening of the Visitors Center at the Bacardi distillery. The bottles are individually numbered and hand-sealed with a cork. Bacardi Limited is the largest privately held, family-owned spirits company in the world.
