Bottle size

Distilled in 1981 and drawn from refill hogshead #1085 before being bottled in 2018, this edition had a measly outturn of 211 bottles. The Family Casks are a collection of the pick of single casks from the Glenfarcias distillery. Initially launched in 2007, this collection was made up of 43 single cask bottlings, with one cask from every year from 1952 through to 1994. The featured casks are bottled at cask strength and maintain their natural hue, allowing the drinker to explore the subtle differences between casks and the history of Glenfarclas. Glenfarclas is a refinery that truly doesn't do it for me. I've had a reasonable few including a jug of their 25 and simply discover their casking to mellow. This one is the equivalent. Strong. Not all that much. Harshness to the completion. Barely any drops opened it up a piece yet at the same time a 3.

Profoundly mind boggling. Dried natural product cowhide and peat on the button and very much pondered of that the sense of taste. Long and rich completion of peat. Has a decent kick to it. Opens up additional with a couple of drops of water.
