About the brand

A brand born and raised in Kentucky, Wild Turkey's name is a stamp of quality the world over. Distributing their bourbon through wholesalers in the early 1900s, the brand's name was conceived when one of their wholesalers took several warehouse samples on a wild turkey hunting trip where the bourbon was hugely popular. Tasting Notes

Nose

Full bodied and aromatic with tobacco, leather, butter toffee, and warm baking spices.

Taste

Oak and vanilla up front, caramel, mint, cinnamon, and plum on the back.

Finish

Medium-long finish with hearty notes of rye and leather. It’s not too hot, yet it leaves an agreeable amount of flavor in your mouth. The finish is well balanced between the lighter/sweet beginning and the slightly dry, oaky finish.
