Modifying this survey in the wake of having had additional time with the malt. The smoky salt water quality is positively there on nose and sense of taste yet there is a sweet hot dry malt quality in here as well with succulent delectable tangerine. Surrendering this an advancement to 5 stars!

Tasting Notes

Nose

The nose offers up plenty of oak, exotic spices, guava, heather honey and soft smoke.

Taste

A full, sweet, creamy palate with hints of smoke, marzipan and cigar boxes.

Finish

A smoky finish, trailing off on sweet cider and toasty barley.
